Julie Chen Moonves, who was one of the initial hosts and moderators for The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award award-winning talk show) was back on the air to host The Talk on August 5th for its 22nd season. The real love of her life was writing. In fact, she won an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an exceptional entertainment talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News The Early Show's early morning news show The Early Show for a 10 years. The anchor was for The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour of news during the early hours of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the war in Iraq as well as other important news stories on The Early Show. Chen Moonves was sent to Cairo after 9/11. She went down and talked to the father who commanded hijackers to an eye-opening, interesting interview. Chen Moonves has interviewed newsmakers like former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the Queen Rania of Jordan as well as the former Defence Secretary William Cohen, and celebrities like Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Viola Davis, Tom Hanks, Mary J. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news program, profiling celebrities including Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul.Prior to The Early Show, Chen Moonves reported as a reporter and anchor for the CBS-owned WCBS-TV station in New York City (1997-1999).Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker for Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that examined what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
